Free CLE: Representing a Veteran: Military Discharge & Correction of Records

The objective of the CLE is to educate volunteers in how to represent clients in military discharge upgrade cases and correction of military records cases. Often successful representation in these cases will result in the veterans gaining eligibility for VA benefits or military retirement benefits.

The CLE will cover the law governing the discharge review boards and the boards for correction of military records, the scope of authority for the boards, military regulations that apply, how to request military records and what factors the boards look for in granting relief.
