Crisis at the Texas Border

As you may have heard, thousands of children are fleeing their homes in Central America due to a lack of economic opportunity and threats from gangs. The dangerous journey that these children are making to the United States - mostly without adult supervision - is a more appealing option than the conditions they face at home.  Once they arrive in the United States, however, many of these unaccompanied children are detained and face daunting court proceedings.
