Houston Volunteer Lawyers (HVL) offers career positions in addition to opportunities for law students and/or newly licensed attorneys to work with staff attorneys as Interns or Fellows.
Join the staff of Houston Volunteer Lawyers and help bridge the legal gap between needs and solutions for thousands of low-income individuals in Harris County and the surrounding counties. When available, career opportunities including attorneys, legal case workers, pro bono staff, and office administration will be listed below.
Law students and licensed attorneys can assist Houston Volunteer Lawyers through Internships and Fellowships. See below for available opportunities.
Law students may receive course credit based on the number of hours worked. Partner organizations such as the Asian American Bar Association and the Association of Women Attorneys often provide funding to support a Fellowship with HVL.
